If I lived closer I would come here every week. The coffee is incredible, the vibe is friendly and the owners are welcoming. I always get the lox and bagel platter. Very fresh, but a bit messy. The only negative is the lack of tables for solo patrons. They have community tables for singles, but sometimes when I am working I like a little more privacy.
Tip: they also have an extensive beer and wine list. On my list to check out in the afternoon. -

Cute little, local space in the Richmond neighborhood.
Stopped in, during the afternoon for a small bite and a drink.
Place is casual and cute. Lots of art, plants, and books around the place. Bright light and not too noisy. Noticed it was a bit warm, but a large fan in the corner of the shop entrance kept the air somewhat flowing.
cheese platter - 2 kinds of cheese served with olives, dijon mustard, cherry jam, and breadsticks
A generous portion of 2 cheese wedges, they had a few options to pick from and though a few were out of stock we settled on a cheese similar to Gruyere and another similar to White Cheddar. Both tasted delicious with the cherry jam and mustard. Wish they could have offered more than a few olives, but still a good offering for the price. Nice to snack on individually or with another.
Mikkeller Riesling Lager -lager with meierer riesling juice, malty, fruity and sweet. Has a slight bitter aftertaste, but so refreshing!
Service is kind and friendly, nice little place and their coffee is good! -

I have a Sunday ritual of visiting a different coffee shop every weekend and enjoying an Americano and a good lunch. I thought I should start leaving reviews on these based on three criteria (5 being the best): Food, ambiance, and extras. You're probably wondering why I'm not grading on coffee? Well, because I'm not an expert, but what I do know about is the above topics.
Food:5
This place has the best avocado toast! Seriously. They use to serve it on a beagle, which I liked more than the rye bread, but still soooo good. They have a few other good options, so it makes it an excellent spot to meet up with a friend for a nice coffee and lunch.
Ambiance: 5
This place feels local. Not just with its cool, down-to-earth vibe, but a lot of people from the neighborhood stop in to say hi. I found that very charming. There's a good amount of seating for both groups and the individuals to hang out at. The owner is super friendly and always a pleasure to chat with and plays good music.
Extras: 1
So the only disappointment is there is no WiFi on the weekends. So not the best place to go to work on your weekend side hustles. Unfortunately, it is starting to become a trend across the city. Working on passion projects is the main reason I go to coffee shops on the weekends...so not sure how often I'll be visiting Orsen's in the near future.
Overall, I do like this coffee shop, but I'll need to remember that it's not a place that I work on my side hustle. -

OK coffee shop in the Inner Richmond a great option for the area with solid food options but average coffee. The locals who hang out here all day can be a little strange and obnoxious as well.

Came here to study with a friend after eating lunch in the area. It was a cute, lovely place and had outlets for laptops as well as free WiFi.
Food:
- Hot Chocolate with added Oat Milk--$5.00
The hot chocolate here was very creamy and milky, and the oat milk was perfectly frothy and smooth. There was even a marshmallow in the hot chocolate and was delicious when melted.
